Our New Logo

You will notice that our logo has a pictures showing India and Australia, as most of our members were born in India and have now made Australia as our home. Hence, the logo has flags of both the countries.TASA (Telugu Association of South Australia) is physically formed and operational in Adelaide, Australia, hence TASA is placed on the Australia flag. Considering the culture that is showcased in TASA is predominantly of India in Australia, we chose the have the shape of Australia as our outline to the symbol.

Vision
Our vision is to preserve, maintain and promote the heritage of Telugu speaking people in South Australia.
Mission
Our mission is to provide a vibrant platform for Telugu speaking member in our community by collaborating, celebrating, sharing, serving and presenting the values of our huge community.

An avenue to showcase our rich culture and diversity, language, heritage and unity through the events and programs organised by our community.

Objectives
To support and promote literary, cultural, educational, social and community programs of Telugu speaking people by :
Organising social and cultural events
Promoting the use of Telugu Language for our future generations via Mana Telugu Badi (Ethnic School) (hyperlink to MTB)
Organising information and networking events for new immigrants (Telugu speaking background) to South Australia
Participating and collaborating in the activities relating humanitarian causes, such as charities, fund raising etc.

History
TASA was founded in 2007 and still going strong with the support of united community and many more years.
